Hello loyal readers,
Thanks to your encouragement simply by opening emails from me, I press on with this old blog, The Earthly Kitchen, continuing to find audacity in a constant barrage of self doubt. (It’s a writer thing… I think.)
I have been asked to read and speak at a literary event next month and am inviting you to attend. Women in Conversation is open to the public and organized by Nancy P. Weiss and Christine Kalafus, co-poets laureate of Pomfret, CT.
The focus of the event is conversation. I will share how my work is in conversation with the women writers who have influenced and inspired my own writing journey. I’ll be reading some of my own brand new, never read work and also selecting a piece by another woman writer, someone who has helped shape how I write.
I will be joined at the podium with four other incredible women writers, including Jaclyn Gilbert, Nancy P. Weiss, Melissa Wyse, and Christine Kalafus.
Come show your support, I can’t wait to see you there! If you can’t make it, please share this with your literary friends.
When: April 13, 10AM—12PM
Where: Christ Church, 527 Pomfret St, Pomfret, CT
Cost: FREE
Thanks for reading, commenting, liking, and sharing. With each click or tap, you help propel me another step forward in this writing endeavor.
